10-20 ton payload is referenced to 2010 articles

[edit]

10-20 ton payload is referenced to 2010 articles and appears more than once. http://www.space.com/28809-china-rocket-family-moon-plans.html gives 13.5 ton payload. Not clear whether 13.5 is maximum or maiden flight payload that can be varied with other configurations or is the only configuration. Therefore not sure whether and how to change it. crandles (talk) 00:22, 27 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Indeed, on paper it has a higher Isp than the Falcon 9, but a lower thrust (7.2MN LM-7 vs 7.6 MN F-9 FT+). The F-9 FT+ is quoted by SpaceX as good for 22 metric tons to LEO, so you'd think that LM-7 would be in approximately the same ball park ~ 95% or so. 147.147.104.39 (talk) 21:10, 25 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Pictures

[edit]

Any pictures of this new superb rocket available? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.63.75.136 (talk) 08:12, 20 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Would be cool to use a picture of Long March 7a which is 7 meters taller because that's the largest rocket china builds. GlowingLava (talk) 03:14, 22 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Intro is too long

[edit]

I think that the intro is WAY too long with all the abbreviations and other ways of writing. This makes it hard to read, especially in the little wikipedia box when you make a Google search "Long March 7". Any thoughts on how to change it to make it more readable?
